The breakfast was "make your own", but had lots of choices for breads, cereals and jams (including blackcurrant jam). Nice big room with private (but not en suite) bath. Outside the city of Carlisle, in the middle of farmland, but with easy access to the center city and Carisle Castle, as well as Mike Barry's Scaleby Hill Motorcycle Museum.

A little difficult to find, in spite of the host’s excellent directions- we overshot it the first time. While there are open fields next to the house, our view was over the parking lot.

It was like being from home to home Definitely would stay again.

Lovely comfortable bed in spacious room Clean and fresh.

Room was cold. Felt slightly intrusive to be using owners kitchen for help yourself breakfast.

Everything, warm, cosy, friendly. It was a wonderful experience after a cold, wet drive.

Ann was a wonderful host & told us to make ourselves at home, which was nice. The room was large & very clean. We had our own bathroom. The bed very comfortable. The location was quiet as it is located in a rural area.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bathroom was equally immaculate. Waking up to stunning views of vast green fields was such a treat, and the breakfast awaiting us downstairs was beautifully prepared. A great selection of teas and coffees added the perfect touch. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable stay!
