Skalameri

Lovely mediterranean style place, with excellent italian cuisine. We loved it so much!

Everything was amazing. The hosts were really friendly and served delicate food in the evening which we enjoyed watching the sunset. It is the perfect accommodation for a calm getaway in Croatia apart from the touristy spots.

Location for me was amazing. Beautiful view from the window. Very quite neighborhood. Very familiar athmosphere and very nice owners. If you seek quite, a little bit hidden place it is for you.

Skalameri guest house is very secluded on a hill. If you are looking for a quiet place like us, this is the place to be. Getting there was a problem for us. The navigation did not give the address. You need to go towards Kožljak and turn right immediately before the small tunnel. Via a gravel path you drive up until you see a sign with Skalameri 200 m. You have a magnificent view of the surroundings. The old building has been beautifully renovated. The Italian owners are very hospitable. The room with separate bathroom was a bit small and dark for us. It was clean everywhere. The room has air conditioning. The breakfast was good with delicious marmalade. You can also have a good dinner there, but we did not use it. The sunset was beautiful to see on the hill. The nearest beach of Plomin Luka is about a 10-minute drive away. There is a large free parking lot at the beach.

For us Skalameri was hard to find.

Location is isolated in nature with great view of the mountains and the starry sky at night. The house is made of stone.

Though promising at first, our impression deteriorated with each day spent here. Barbara and Rhino have the Italian charm, but have a lot to learn about running a hospitality business. We stayed for 10 nights and several things really annoyed us: - same breakfast every day, with very limited choice and quantities - room was not cleaned during our whole stay, nor were the bed linens changed, or garbage taken out

Great view, nice room style and comfortable bed. Wifi is fast and you can feel the nature of Croatia in this place. We would like to stay longer there if we would have time.

There was no shampoo in bathroom, breakfast was a bit small (but you can ask for more). You need a car to get there.

Friendly hosts in a lovely tranquil country side location. Barbara made us a delicious dinner too :)

Owners were very nice and we loved the place. Kids were very happy, they played with the goats all the time
