IN SHORT: This is an amazing opportunity to get rested, hike&explore natural beauties of Gorski kotar, meet&greet kind people, enjoy a quiet time in nature or in this beautiful house, and just take time to be grateful & peaceful. Mrs. Jagoda and Mr. Robi are wonderful hosts, very flexible and kind. Rooms are cosy and clean. Shared living room is very comfortable, and you have a little library to choose books if you like to read. Shared terrace has an amazing view. We loved having conversations with other guests, watching star constellations or having a laugh with hosts. Of course, if you are more private, it is respected. House dog Molly is the cutest! :) FOOD: Breakfast was ready every morning from 8 AM, but we always arrived to eat later (around 10 am). Mrs. Jagoda was always kind enough to hold the table for us. Since we hiked and explored throughout the week - we wanted to sleep in, so it was really nice to sleep a bit more, and eat a bit later. Breakfast included local organic produce, fresh coffee & bread, different jams & butter, orange juice, hard boiled eggs, and a home made cake. It was especially nice to drink the first sip of coffee on shared terrace with an exceptional view. You can also have shared dinner, you just have to announce it to Mrs. Jagoda (who is a great cook!). A short notice: if you decide to have additional dinner, coffee or a beverage - it is not included in the price, so just know it adds to the final pricing :) SIGHTSEEING RECOMMENDATIONS: We especially recommend to see -source of the Kupa river-, it is an amazing hike even if it's a rainy day. We took the longest route (around 4 h in total) and were amazed throughout the whole hike. It is mostly flat without slippery slopes. Also, go see Golubinjak forrest, Kamačnik forrest, cave Lokvarka (just don't go if you have small children, 45 min), Vrelo cave (20 minutes).
