Apartments Sun & Sea

Really awesome stay. Really comfy and clean. Great location next to a beach and close to Omiš.

Petra and her family were super hosts, and the apartment couldn't have made our visit easier: it was steps from a market, bakery, and beach. While the studio is small, they made the most of the space and really surprised us with what was available in the kitchen area (we were able to make a proper lunch!) The balcony was just what we needed, and the fact that the building is set back off the road meant we could sleep with an open window without traffic noise. Definitely a nice value for the price!

The only drawback was the communication. They use the Direct Booker service, which sent a bunch of automated messages directing me to a link that didn't show up in the message itself. There was a lot of pressure to confirm exact arrival time, when in fact it wasn't that stressful at all - Petra and her family live downstairs and are lovely. The info sheet Direct Booker provided gave the wrong GPS coordinates for parking, sending me on a rather nerve-wracking loop through one-lane sidestreets, when in fact I could have simply turned very easily off the main-road. Also, they could use some towel hooks in the bathroom. With our beach towels on the balcony, we didn't really have a place to put wet bath towels.

Apartment was clean and had everything we needed - kitchen well equiped. Lovely balcony with chairs and a small table . Literally 1 minute walk to the food store/bakery and another minute to the beach. There were 3 restaurants on the beach. We were very happy with our stay

Family-run compact and functional apartment, everything clean and working. English spoken. Super nice balcony with partial sea view and with a table and chairs for having a perfect breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snack. The view also included croatian houses, rooftops, stone walls, a cat, a dog, and birds - like an idyllic screensaver, but it was alive and for real. :) In the neighbouring house there was a small supermarket and a bakery. Two other supermarkets were close by in the center of Dugi Rat. Good connections to Split and Omiš with the local bus line 60 by Promet Split running every day of the week from 5 a.m. to midnight (cost 2-3 € in 2024 and only half price with the app). Also long-distance buses of e.g. Promet Makarska and FlixBus stop in Dugi Rat. The bus stops (Dugi Rat Centar) are just a 2-minute walk from the aparment.

Lovely apartment and hosts. The sea view from the balcony is just a sliver between the buildings, as the apartment is behind a shop, but it's 1 minute away from the beach.

Not a complain, but rather information: The driveway is very narrow and not mapped on google maps - ask hosts for details if you book this place

This is a great appartment! We were happy to choose it for our 3 week stay! Nice, minimalist, huge terrase, comfortable even with a small kid for longer stays when we were also working remotely from there. Kitchen is fully equipped (i loved the coffee machine!). Sea is few steps away.

Great sea view, clean, cozy, fully equipped, good internet, bars and supermarket nearby.

Very good localization. Close to the beach and shops.
