Very quiet location where you can hear the running river right behind the guesthouse, yet just a very brief walk to everything else. Very kind and gracious hosts, and this was certainly the absolute best home-cooked food I've had in my Georgian travels.

A nice guesthouse located on the main road – easy to reach by car, yet green, quiet, and close to the center of Ushguli. The family is lovely and very helpful with any questions I had. The rooms aren’t very big, but I had a shelf where I could store all my things. I really appreciated the cleanliness and privacy, as I stayed in a separate house apart from the main family home. It had a fairly large living room with a comfortable sofa, where I could relax and make tea. There’s also a separate, spacious dining room where they serve breakfast and dinner. Sometimes I sat at the small table under the trees in the garden – a very peaceful spot. I was able to use the washing machine, and although Wi-Fi was available, I didn’t use it. The family also offers guided horseback tours. It’s a lovely place to stay in Ushgulii!

I was truly and pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. I felt like I was staying with family. The lady-owner makes breakfast, and it's delicious. Her husband is a man with a heart of gold and many qualities, but he doesn't know how to prepare you a tasty breakfast ask for lady's assistance instead 😄
