"Real Greek hospitality"

The Artemis Rooms offer a true taste of Greece. They are a short walk from the main street of Agia Marina with its bars, restaurants, takeaways and shops.The beach and harbour are a few meters further down the hill. This is were the Athenians holiday and so it has kept its Greek charm without being over run with other Europeans. The accommodation consists of clean but basic apartments with air con, shower,fridge and double beds. Tea and coffee on the landing(Meet the neighbours!) Vasilis and Evelin run the apartments and are more than helpful. During the day they can be found on the beach were Vasilis rents out pedalos canoes and a sail boat.(free to Artemis patrons) Aegina Island is an hour ferry trip from Piraeus (port of Athens) and so is the ideal place to explore the capital wile staying in a resort. The Island has much to see including the temple of Aphia wich is as beautiful as the Acropolis but without the crowds. Agina town is the main port but Perdica,Souvala,Marathanos,Vagia and others all deserve to be visited.
