Dipla Sto Potami (Next To The River)

Das war eine der besten Unterkünfte, die ich je gebucht habe. Wunderschöne ruhige Lage am Fluss im Tal, das auch zu Dodona führt. Alles sehr liebevoll gepflegt und sauber, gut geschnittener Raum und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Betten sind gut. Die Gastronomie vorne ist hinten beim Gästehaus nicht zu hören. Alle Mitglieder der Eigentümer-Familie, die ich kennenlernen konnte waren aussergewöhnlich freundlich und machten den Aufenthalt zu einem Vergnügen. Fischesser sollten die leckere hausgemachte Forelle testen, der Salat des Hauses ist ebenfalls sehr gut - Danke an die Küchenchefin, die auch Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Wer wirklich Natur erleben und Ruhe möchte und dennoch in einer halben Stunde Fahrt Stadtleben mit Ioannina haben will ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

NICHTS zu beanstanden.

Il posto è immerso nel verde, un torrente passa a fianco alla struttura, i tavoli sono accanto al torrente. La camera grande. La gestione familiare e la bontà dei prodotti usati per preparare cena e colazione.

Non c'era un gancio a muro per il doccino della doccia.

Very good. There is much to like about this hotel/restaurant. First, it really IS next to a burbling river and off the main road, and overall it has a lovely vibe. The hotel itself is a 2-floor house with (I think) 4 or 5 rooms on each floor. The room was simple and with plain furnishings, large and clean, and everything worked. The restaurant is about 20 meters away and a separate building, with happy and helpful staff, and surprisingly good food. We were a couple of buddies on our motorcycles, so the large room and parking, and not having to stumble far for a beer and food, was much appreciated.

Ok, not a big deal, but the restaurant opens later in the day and there is no breakfast. However, there is a coffee shop about 10 mins away, though unfortunately it means walking on the A-road which is used by lorries, so that's not fun. I would suggest that the hotel make a path directly there or hire someone for the morning guests, nothing extravagent - coffee and bread, etc.
