Munduk Panorama

The breathtaking view from the apartment was simply mesmerizing, offering a picturesque backdrop of the surrounding landscape. The owner was incredibly hospitable, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. The added perk of motorcycle rental made exploring the area a breeze. The air conditioner in the room was good. What truly stood out was when the owner invited us to participate in a traditional ceremony, providing us with a unique cultural experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Munduk.

Loved our stay here! Great location and lovely staff and the view from our room was out of this world! In walking distance to cafes, waterfalls and the local village. Bike rental is also available for 100,000 IDR which gave us the ability to venture further afield and visit the floating temple and lakes nearby. HUGE bed which was amazing and very comfy!

The location is great, particularly if you're in Munduk for the walking trails and to see the waterfalls!

The room itself is very small, you can just about walk around the bed, but there's no wardrobe or anywere to put your clothes, so you'll be living out of a suitcase. The bathroom is ant-infested and I noticed everytime I turned on the shower ants would come flooding out of the wall. The drain was also blocked, so after 30 seconds of the water running you'd be standing in an inch of water, mostly with floating ants. There was no window or extractor fan in the bathroom so it was permanently hot and wet in there and I had one toiletry bag that actually went mouldy in there. There wasn't anywhere to hang up a towel either, so I put it outside on the chairs on the balcony, but since it's Munduk it rains a lot, and the towels got wet again anyway! There are a couple of roll down blinds outside the balcony (to stop the rain coming all the way in) but at least one of these was also ant-infested which was not nice. The staff downstairs are nice but have very little English. I even tried using a translator app, but they didn't seem that interested in helping me. The surrounding area is very nice, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room and the vibes

Perfect location for the Munduk waterfall trekking. The staff was nice, and there was a warung/Cafe there that guaranteed food.

No AC, walls are thin, and you can listen to people in the other room talking. The door to the balcony does not lock.

Amazing views, comfortable bed, lovely staff and location, great value for money.

The woods need a little fixing, we were a little scared of falling through the ground at some point.

Beautiful view, the room is cozy and quiet, we love it! No need AC cos the place is pretty cold at night, amazing stay, thank you to taking care of us even just 1 night, we will be back

One thing that need to change is the coffee! We didn't get the room with breakfast, so we ordered coffee in the morning and it taste bad, taste like muds, we are coffee people and it's a bit disappointed
