The location has a beautiful garden and a nice place where to sit and eat.You can prepare meals in the kitchen.

Travelers with dogs need to know that it is not allowed to let the dogs free in the big garden, they need to stay on leash in the whole property.

The pictures are deceiving, you don't get the whole lodge with kitchen and living area we just had one room, which was the bedroom and nothing in it.

The house is in a historic building complex. It was a great experience to stay in a place that looks like it could be a museum.

No kitchen for cooking . There is only a microwave and a refrigerator at home

The property is nice and I guess it is beautiful in summer days.

Heating was big problem for this property. Days were cold when we stayed. We complained about heating because it was kept on the minimum. We slept fully dressed the first night. Although the owner turned heating on maximum, it could not make the difference. Next day we left early in the morning. When we came back in the evening heating was on minimum again. I wrote to the owner again and he put heating on maximum. I guess the problem is to heat room in winter days. We asked for refund because it is not right to charge full price having such a serious problem with heating. We were denied refund. Don`t go there in winter days, especially with children.

The flair of the property was amazing. Very vintage and well kept.

Not much to complain about. Everything was an advertised.

There was no internet in the room or outside, absolutely everything could be heard from the adjacent bathroom and room, the owner didn't speak English well and couldn't help us with almost anything except finding an ATM (he asked us for more money on the spot than mentioned ). And that wasn't the worst... The worst impression made on me was how he welcomed us - only in shorts and no T-shirt... disgusting! We are traveling with a child and it is extremely unrepresentative and depressing in our views!

Beautiful and charming location.

A great stay in Gönyu with amazing owners. The property is a classic Hungarian village house with beautiful decor. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy.

Lovely property and conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and the river. Bonus for us was the ability to safely store our bikes!
