An absolutely wonderful experience — highly recommended! We spent one night at this lovely property and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, our host Barbara welcomed us with a delicious coffee and a homemade dessert — a warm and personal touch that immediately made us feel at home. She was incredibly friendly and took the time to suggest nearby attractions: a few stunning caves, a museum, and the charming little town of Rastoke, where the waterfalls are simply breathtaking (highly recommend making time for this!). The next morning, we were treated to a generous and delicious breakfast with an impressive spread of homemade dishes. Barbara even prepared food for us to take on the road — completely unprompted and such a thoughtful gesture. The property is spotlessly clean, very easy to access, and ideally located just minutes from Plitvice Lakes National Park. The fresh air and peaceful atmosphere made for a truly restful stay. Even though our time here was short, we will absolutely be recommending this place to friends and family. A heartfelt thank you to Barbara for making our stay so memorable!

Everything! This was the perfect stay in the countryside. The room was fabulous, stylish and comfortable, but the thing that put our stay over the top was the cheerful, welcoming personalities of our host and staff. They made our stay something we will treasure for the rest our lives.

Everything was terrific, but if we could change one thing about the room it would be to replace the frosted glass bathroom door for a solid one. When we read other reviews complaining about it, we laughed it off, but there is something about sitting on the toilet in front of a glass door that is off-putting. Others can’t see clearly in, but it’s uncomfortable. More importantly, if one turns on the light in the bathroom during the night, it illuminates the sleeping area as well. In our opinion it was a shame to use a stylish glass door instead of an opaque one. There’s a reason bathroom doors aren’t glass. This feature doesn’t change our extremely high opinion of Zinka House, but if we owned the property we would change the bathroom doors.

The hosts Zrinka and Barbara are so warm and hospitable!!! They truly care about their guests’ experience. As well as cooking eggs to order provide an amazing breakfast spread, including 3 different cakes they made themselves the night before. Not only that, they provide lunch bags and encourage you to take the breakfast food for a picnic lunch. So generous! And the rooms are large and comfortable

Lovely property located very close to the Plitvice national park. Our host Barbara was delightful and we were welcomed with drinks and cake. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast and sandwich makings to take with us for a picnic lunch.
