GBFabulous hospitality, felt welcome and well looked after. Lots of lovely food and homemade alcoholic drinks offered. Couldn't do enough for us. Took us to the ferry early morning.
I was under the impression we would have a kettle and access to basic cooking facilities. This was not the case. Fridge in hall outside bedroom. Bathroom was tiny, my husband ( 6ft 2) struggled.
GBWe had a faultless and unforgettable experience. We will certainly be returning for a longer stay. Ivo and his family welcomed us to their spotlessly clean and spacious home tucked away in a corner of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. The apartments are a short taxi trip from the main town in a small village with a harbour and a few good restaurants overlooking the water. Our hosts kept us so well-fed and happy. If you get the change We were welcomed with a glass of homemade limoncello by our kind and accommodating host. You must have the breakfast - Ivo makes the best omelette I have ever eaten (I would return just for the omelette!). The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is a shady platform for swimming and sunbathing. IF you get the chance to take the little boat to the reindeer island then do.
Nothing could be better, we only wish we had booked for longer.
SEthe owners made us feel like family. we were very spoilt and treated so well. the property is right on the water so perfect for relaxing. easy to walk to everywhere in Lumbarda.
it’s not traditional 5 star luxury but the owners and private swim spot more then make up for it.
