Bagus Cottage

The people that run these gorgeous cottages are the most friendly and helpful people ever! Nothing was ever too much and was such a lovely place to stay.

Bathrooms could do with a refresh as they are a bit outdated

Nice breakfast, great view nice staff,, good restaurants and spas 10 minutes wander west,

Be aware no fridge or safe in room and a steep walk up the drive. Good value for money though

The location is great, it’s right near next to a beach, so the view is gorgeous, you need a scooter to get around but that is true for all of Bali and Nusa so not unexpected. The pool was nice and clean, and the stuff was very friendly. Check out at 12:00 was a nice surprise

The accommodation was unfortunately very old and dirty, we open our room, there was no light, just a small lightbulb on the side of the room, made a room seem really dark, the floors were dirty, a lot of dirt and stains, especially around bad, two old and dirty rugs, the walls had many stain, pain was chipping of, the doors had rust all over them and you couldn’t close the bathroom door from outside only if you lock it inside, the bathroom was super dirty, no hot water and barely any water pressure in the shower, the shower wasn’t separated at all and the drain was on the other side of bathroom so there was water all over the floor, the pipes in the sink were leaking so if you open the tap, the water was dripping from them, mold on the walls, overall could recommend because of the low maintenance of the rooms, which is shame because location and stuff were great but the rooms need serious update.

The view was amazing, lovely staff. A good breakfast included each morning. Amenities were clean with working air conditioning. Easy walk to food with accommodation able to organise bikes, taxis and day trips. Excellent value for money.

The pool has no exit steps so would be hard for some to climb out and little to no shade around the pool. No kettle, or fridge in room so no access to 24hr tea or coffee but during the day staff would offer to make it for us. Beds are Balinese hard.

Ac was not working. Complaint many times but staffs not helping us

Room was clean, staff and the owner was quite supportive and helpful.

No electric kettle in the room and wifi was not good as there was network problem multiple times.

I really wanted to love this place but !!! The good... The omlette staff cooked for breakfast best in whole trip. Pool o.k to cool down in but very difficult to get out of. Staff were helpful to bring food up big stairs to my room. Lovely garden. Not too far to walk to nice places to eat and drink

It's much like the last review from 'Rob' from Australia. The not so good... Pool needs stairs to get out of. Steep hill to get up to Cottages. Bed was very, very hard to sleep on, and needs replace mattress. Also more, better pillows. A/C is not really cold. The bathroom worn out needs to refurbish. Super noisy with main road below always busy and also next to petrol station below so always car and bike noises. Price way too much in comparison to others similar nearby. Sorry, must tell truth for me :-/

The pool was difficult to get out of- needs a ladder or another step. Location is on main road so noisy. The driveway up to the entrance is very steep. There is no beach opposite so don’t be misled by other posts. There are very few beaches on this part of the island. You will need your own transportation (scooter) to get around. Some restaurants/bars & massage place nearby. Basically it’s a pretty quiet island.
