Non è tenuta come meriterebbe, la pulizia è sommaria e non frequente, la colazione viene proposta solo con cibo per la clientela cinese, abbiamo dovuto chiedere pane e frutta uniche cose disponibili, sono molto più propensi ad una clientela orientale

Excelente resort con trato inmejorable, muy bien ubicado, buna comida, vistas espectaculares y stalff perfecto. Muy recomendable.

Nous avons passé 9 jours à Maratua Dive center and lodge. Nous avons fait seulement du snorkelling (nous ne sommes pas des plongeurs). Le lieu est splendide avec des coraux et des poissons superbes au bout de la jetée. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. Le dîner (surcoût de 130000 rp) est délicieux et copieux. Malgré les deux petits bémols évoqués ci dessous, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un endroit paradisiaque et nous recommandons ++.

Le petit déjeuner est aléatoire, parfois c’est un peu léger, il manque de fruits et ce n’est pas très varié. Compte tenu du coût de l’hôtel, il serait intéressant d’investir dans des scooters pour que les coûts soient moins élevés, voir gratuits. En effet, les prix ne sont pas fixes, nous avons payé 150000 (déjà onéreux pour l’indo) mais nous avons aussi entendu que certains payaient le scooter 300000rp. Certains des scooters appartiennent aux employés de l’hôtel.

The food was excellent.

The resort is located on the West side of the island, where the diving sites are not nice, as they are subject to overfishing (most of the population lives either on the west side or inside the lagoon). You see very few fish, plenty of lost fishing lines and even the occasional coral rumble due to past dynamite fishing. While the Maratua Dive Center price list states that Maratua Island and Channel dives cost $100 for 3 dives, the owner is actually unwilling to dive more than once per stay on the East side of the island because of the gas cost (it takes 30mn, to go to the Channel). After our 4th day of dive we realized that the best dive site is the Channel, located on the East side of the island. As the owner was unwilling to allow us to dive it further (we were the only guests at the resort), we relocated to the Sienna Maratua resort, which is located next to this dive site. As a result, we lost 7 nights of our stay, but it was the right decision in retrospect. As a further note, we upgraded to a water villa once we arrived at the resort, because the sea front rooms are located deep into the vegetation and we were worried that opening the windows to lead to getting mosquitoes.

We were lucky to be the only guests for most of our stay here and were so well looked after! Kadek made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much to ask. Meals were fabulous - thank you Susi! We will definitely be back again some day.

Everything was good, especially diving, very very good instructors, but should improve a bit their English, room number 10 made too much noise the water pump
