Villa Barbara

The apartment was beautiful, very peaceful. The owner very kind, we arrived late and they sent us a video how to get into the apartment the information was very clear and was very easy. Villa Barbara is located in the best place to enjoy sun and sea and very close to Split. Amazing time.

It was a very clean room with all the necessary facilities and the hostess Barbara was very kind and helpful. The property is in a very good location right next to a gorgeous beach.

Not that well connected to airport at night/midnight. It is only my problem: I would need to catch up flight early in the morning, even the bus connection is good, the frequency is not that high so I have to get up very early at 4 to catch the flight at 8 ish.

Cost effective, nice facilities. A good place to stay. Use of garage was a lovely bonus. Friendly and accommodating host Very cost effective cafes and restaurants near by on the water front.

Location was a bit far from the center of split. Required a bit of planning to get to and fro with public transport.

We loved EVERYTHING! Stobreč is a beautiful little town with a picturesque view and a lovely beach. We also had the best time staying at Villa Barbara. A 5-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you directly to Split city center. It is also within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the beach! Barbara was so kind and accommodating. Whenever we needed anything, we would just send her a message and she was there to help. She made us warm breakfast on top of the spread that was already there. The room was clean and the facilities were very well-kept. The AC worked great and we had a balcony.

The location is a 30 min direct bus ride from Split (it only costs 1 EUR) – but I found this as a positive thing. The town is calmer and you can enjoy the beach without the crowd.

Great location, just a minute from the boardwalk and the beach. Lovely clean room and a very nice hostess.

I was not aware that the parking needed to be booked prior to arrival so finding a parking around was not easy and we had to be at the parking meter by 7 o'clock in the morning so had to wake up early. Also, the garbage bin is quite small and there is only one and only in the bathroom.
