Kubu Nusa

Perfect location, in the middle of the main area, a couple blocks away from the port. The staff was super friendly, and I got a beautiful room with an incredible balcony for a great price.

The location was pretty central

The staff were completely clueless from arrival and lacked any initiative to help. I had messaged about a scooter when I had booked and the person who responded said the service would be available but when I turned up, it wasn’t, so I had to walk down the street to about 7 shops before finding one. The girl wasn’t expecting me, spoke zero English, and was not friendly either. When I turned up, a group was checking out and flustered that Kubu Nusa had organised transportation that would not get them on time to the next leg of their trip, which was reflective of the helpfulness of this place. The state of the guest bathroom was shocking. The room was very run down and the bathroom stank of urine. The rooms are also very un soundproof. I don’t know how this place is rated so highly.
