We loved our stay here! The reviews seemed too good to be true so we had to see for ourselves, and it really lived up to the expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was cozy, the AC worked great, and the shower was awesome. The breakfast was delicious and the sweet host couple really showed attention to detail. They noted what fruits we didn’t eat for breakfast the first morning and then replaced it with different fruit the next morning. It was small, but appreciated and noted. The property was also very peaceful and quiet and located close to a small convince store that was open late and a laundromat right next door!

We liked the location and liked that it was a little bit of a walk from the main street of Ubud, but just be aware that some taxi drivers said that road is one of the hardest to get to in Ubud, but they still found us no problem! Plus, it’s walking distance to the money forest, which is fun!

We had an amazing stay at Kyumari! The room was very nice, and the location was great. The hosts were incredible, they do anything to make your stay perfect!

Long way to walk from road with luggage not car accessible, it is like a home, invasion of privacy, caretaker used to come in room when we were not there unplug everything from electrical outlets, turn off AC, breakfast was extremely ordinary, not value for money.

Kyumari has everything I need, and more! It's cozy, quiet and very clean... and my standards are high ;) Sheets and towels are fresh, breakfast is good with lots of fruits (you may enjoy it on the balcony, or not; it will depend if the monkeys are around that morning! But if they are, you'll be set up in your room to watch them play or have a snack from the best seat through your glass door), wifi is strong and steady, AC is powerful, shower is great, loved the bigger fridge... I mean, all is good! You can walk to many restaurants (indonesian and international food) in less than 5 minutes, the location really is perfect to be near some action, but far enough from the road noise. I need to mention how lovely the hosts are; they were both always all smiles, accommodating and very responsive while never being intrusive. A very calm energy radiates from them, which makes you feel welcome and at ease. I booked a second stay! :)

Nothing to dislike!

In 4 months of travelling, this is one of our top stays! It was so clean and spacious. The attention to detail was impressive from the comfy bed, nice linen, 2 drying racks, hooks and the best pillows. It was easy to rent a scooter through them. Having breakfast overlooking the garden was a great way to start the day. It was a great location, easy walk to most places in Ubud but so quiet and peaceful! The highlight was the sweetest couple running the homestay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kyumari! Everything was fantastic - the team that look after you, the yummy breakfast options, the ease and comfort, off course the spacious comfortable room, shower and facilities and the peaceful garden. The rooms are very clean (cleaned daily), the shower is soooo good! The hosts are wonderful people - very kind, flexible and always happy to help. The location is perfect - a peaceful spot away from the noise of cars/scooters in central Ubud. If you take a left, and walk 7 minutes you are at Monkey Forest. If you turn right, and walk approx 15 minutes you are in the center of Ubud for the palace gardens etc. There are also some very nice luxury spa's at 2-3 minute walking distance. If you are interested in the Yoga Barn, it's a 10-15 minute walk, and 1-3 minutes on a scooter. A big thank you to the Kyumari team - I cannot recommend them enough, and look forward to staying again!
