Jiwa Jawa Residence Semarang

quite easy to find the place, even though we arrive quite late the staff was able to wake up and attend to up with our baggage.

Please ask the staff to update picture of the place, its not like what they post online. The Residence by Jiwa Jawa was quite wore out, old, and the floor mess up, toilet also is abit wore out, I would recommend for family

Nice rooms with good design. The house feels homey. And the location is near my family's residence. Resto is nice and the staff served nicely.

The rooms looked clean but were frowsy. The pillows smell fusty too. We came very late at nite and already asked for an extra bed (brought my 3 kids) but it was not ready. And according to the house keeper he did not know anything about it while the CS was not around. Confirmed the day after she said the extra bed was limited and no more available when we arrived. We had breakfast late, my kids went before me and they said the rice was dried. Seems the staff did not refill it. But when I came after they refill it with new cooked rice. There were 2 cats. I am in a phobia with a cat.

Very maintained low key hotel, quite clean with nice green decors. Room is alright for short stay, with friendly staff. A little out of town but close to the highway which is what i needed.

Brighter rooms would be good. Thank you

No lift available

Check in was easy. I stayed in room 301, which was a perfectly clean room with watercooker, good shower and very spacious. The neighbourhood is quite calm and silent. There is a waterdispenser in the hall that gets replaced frequently.

My friends stayed in room 302 which had a moldy leaking ceiling in the shower that looked like it was gonna burst. One of the bedspreads was dirty too. You need to be strong enough to get your suitcases up the 3rd floor with the stairs. During our stay they never came to clean the rooms or change the towels. If not for room 302, I would have given this a 9 out of 10.

Not comfortable for old people since they have no lift.

A bit dirty and the breakfast is a bit terrible interm of taste and presentation
