Atuh Forest Cottage

We stayed for 3 nights at Atuh Forest Cottage and honestly, it was a dream! The place is spotlessly clean, cozy, and surrounded by a beautiful garden that feels like a little slice of paradise. Breakfast was delicious and always served with a smile. But the real highlight? The hosts! The owner and his wife are the warmest, kindest, most genuine people we've met on the island. Always smiling, always ready to help – they made us feel like part of their family. If I could give 12 out of 10, I absolutely would. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

Wonderful place to stay with very kind people!

The room is comfortable, eco-friendly with a garden view and sea view at the same time. The owner couple is so kind, supportive and friendly. They cooked really well, delicious meals. This place is only 5mins from the Atuh beach by scooter.

It's quite far from the harbor

Atuh is located in East Nusa Penida - about 1 and a half hours away from West Penida (famous Kelingking beach) You will need a driver to bring you around which the cottage can help you book (a bit on the pricier side imo) The cottage is further inside and you only have 1 restaurant beside the cottage with a limited menu to order from. If you don't mind the isolated location, it is peaceful. The owners are the sweetest people (as all Bali people are)

Nothing I would complain about. Just take note: - roosters will wake you up at 4 am haha - location is away from any restaurants or any convenience store

Amazing place in the forrest,but also in a small friendly town. The hosts Gede and Dayu are like family.. They do everything to make you feel happy! Relaxed place in the middle of a fantastic nature, but with great beaches in the environment!

A wonderful, tranquil place with everything you need and also scooter rental to explore the island. The hosts were so attentive to every need and helped arrange modes of transportation. The food was also amazing. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

Comfy bed, mosquito net was helpful and the bathroom was very tidy and spacious. The hosts were very generous! Nice bike and walk down to Atuh beach and then a bit of a climb up and down to Diamond beach but it is worth it!!

I would suggest bringing mosquito repellent as there are a lot!

Really nice place we had a great time! Very friendly and welcoming staff. In the middle of the nature with a great view. No touristic hotspot but a very nice beach close by.
