The Uma Guesthouse

Such a nice, friendly place. The staff is super nice and does everything to make you feel comfortable. And the guesthouse is a hidding gem. Looking over de rice fields and away from the crowd.

It is close to a very busy street, which you don’t hear.

The location was very quiet and had a nice view onto rice fields.

My room was cleaned in a big rush and was not ready until 2.40pm, where I was left sitting at reception with no communication about this. The reception staff disappeared at 1.45pm and said my room would not be ready until 2.15pm until. Despite arriving at 1pm and going away until check in, not being told about this delay until I arrived back to check in. When I got into the bed that night, late, I noticed the sheet I slept on had a hair in it, stains and flecks of fibres. It did not appear to have been changed from the previous guest. There was a towel outside of the wet room/bathroom that was not changed from the previous guest as it had the indentation of someone elses foot on it and it was stained also. Overall, I could not relax as I did not feel the room was clean due to these pertinent factors.

Location is not far from the beach and Belarusian restaurant. Pool area is cozy, territory is lovely Kitchen is available

Bedsheets was dirty.. towels looked like a floor rag.. plenty of mosquitos in the room was biting us all the day and night. Kitchen area is dirty. We had to change water in cooler ourselves since no staff did it.. didn't feel much welcomed on arrival..

The property is nice, beautiful garden, nice pool

The biggest problem for us was near by construction, that was all day every day from 7/8 am … and when rice about to be collected terrible noice of cans and women screaming to scare birds and that starting from 6 am. Till sunrise. So it was terrible and totally ruined our stay coz we couldn’t sleep, couldn’t have even breakfast in peace or chill at the pool Bathroom on the second floor needs to be upgraded
