Dotan's Boutique Guesthouse - By The Beach!

Mostly I loved the location, the guesthouse is right by the beach. The place was cleaned every day. Helpful staff, willing to help at anytime

The facilities are not modern at all, but I just wanted a low cost stay by the beach so I didn't mind

Dotan is nice guy but highly suspicious charged me same price in cash for a much worse room because a family got my room before me because it was bigger I felt shafted from the get go as this place is a bomb shelter of the house upstairs, currently on a Greek island and it’s a million times better than tel aviv in every way possible. People are warmer and food is way better. even though tel aviv is not a Jewish city it does Shabbat which makes no sense as it’s the complete opposite of holyness

Strange characters at this place. There’s a grown man living inside full time doesn’t leave as he has to watch nobody steals the tv that nobody watches. he leaves his door open at all times even when drunk on arak sleeping but closes the door half way so you can always see his shaved legs on show which was awkward guess that’s why it’s called bootique it was grimey especially shares bathroom that was busy when you need it most . Not like the Roman boutique in paphos. Staying at dotans has put me off going back to israel but this place was better than the next one I got with traffic all night long. Take your chances or pay the extra for somewhere decent . The bedroom door had gap in it so the bright light and noise of the family was immense. Really can’t believe how much I paid to stay at dotans felt like a proper tourist staying here.

- excellent location, 2 min walk to Mitzitzim Beach - room was spacious for family of 4 - Dotan was a gracious and incredibly communicative host

- room was a bit below street level, so there wasn't much natural light. there was also a faint mold smell.
