Lovely hosts, superior cottages in nice secluded garden, close to the beach, clean, kids loved the fish pond

Jättemysigt ställer med stor veranda. Nära till stranden, restauranger och affärer. Väldigt rent och prydligt.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war in Strandnähe 2 Gehminuten zu einem wunderschönen Strand. Hier legen auch die Boote nach Menjangan ab. Auch gibt es hier am Strand wertvolles ein Biorock Projekt zur Erhaltung und Wiederaufforstung der Korallen. Der Besitzer bietet Aktivitäten, Ausflüge zu sehr fairen Konditionen an. Das Zimmer war mit vielen Extra‘s ausgestattet, gratis Wasser, Tee, Kaffee im Zimmer. Auf der schönen Terrasse haben wir gerne gesessen, Wäscheständer ist vorhanden. Ein gutes großes Mückennetz, ein bequemes Bett, große Räumlichkeiten, ein tolles Bad mit Haken. Hier kann man auch gut mehrere Tage verbringen. Das Frühstück ist super!! Sie hatten sehr großzügig eine Kaffeekanne, Früchte und auf unseren Wunsch ein Nasi Goreng.

Es war sehr hellhörig, den Nachbar hörten wir so als wäre er in unserem Zimmer.

Brilliant location for walking to the beach or a selection of restaurants and cafes. Our hosts helped organise a snorkelling trip during our stay and pick from Gilimanuk before arrival.

Soundproofing between the rooms wasn’t great so you’re at the mercy of the volume at which your neighbours interact!

Pondok Shindu was a lovely place to stay. We had a deluxe room. The air conditioning was very good, shower good, fridge and kettle etc useful. A very short walk to the beach and not far to a supermarket. Putu, Brx’s son was a good driver, collecting us from the ferry port and then driving us to near Tanah Lot with some stops along the way that we had selected. There is a tasty warung nearby.

It was an amazing stay. So cozy and quiet. Just 3 mins walk to the beach and restaurants. The staff was kind and friendly. Loved the room, the open bathroom, and the cozy lawn. Everything was great.

They didn’t have a hair dryer; having one would be nice.
