The Bali Boarding House

This felt like my Bali home away from home - highly recommend esp. for longer stays. This will be one of the best value for money properties in Uluwatu for sure (I spent quite some time looking at that). The room itself was one of the nicest I've got in Bali (and I've been almost everywhere :) ), very clean and comfortable. You get loooads of bottled water in the room - which is so nice. The garden and space outside is lovely. Very quiet - which I loved. You also get a kitchen you can use with a big table, ideal for working. The staff are lovely - although not always around. I did laundry there too, and it was one of the favourite eveeer.

Nothing much I didn't like. It's not a very sociable place - but I wasn't looking for that. The seating at the big kitchen table wasn't super comfortable.

It’s a bit outside, so just rent a bike and your fine! Means quite at night that’s really good

Lovely guesthouse in a quiet location but close to main road/rest of Uluwatu. Beautiful garden and kitchen area. Desi was there to help with everything, for example renting scooters. Great Wi-Fi for working online. Recommend!

I loved everything about my stay! Cozy rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was very clean (including pillows and bedding). Very thoughtful host- you have your own fridge with freezer, a sink and even your own water to drink from inside of your room. A lot of stuff that just makes sense like every room having their own umbrella on the porch in case it rains. Mosquito spray is also provided. WiFi is a 10/10. There’s a shared kitchen area you can use that includes a coffee machine. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Desi, the owner, is the sweetest person. I will definitely return :)

The place is really nice. Relax and calm around you all time. The room was very clean and it was very comfortable. You have all you need. Small private terrace with a small clothesline as well.

There was nothing that displeased me.

The quietness, the garden, Opi the dog keeping me company, the facilities are great with fully equipped kitchen. It’s clean and comfortable bed. Enough room for one person, even for two as the garden area is great. You can have rental scooter. Nice cafes and restaurants near by. This was my second visit here and definitely coming back later.

The garden is excellent, the communal kitchen area tidy. There’s vibrant interesting art work. Overall a relaxing place to stay. Friendly welcoming staff. Also close to a cute cafe called Tika Tika.

Clean but the bathroom is basic

Owner Desi is very helpfull. Really nice garden, really nice outside stay with kitchen. Rented a good motorbike, location is quiet but not too far away from the hotspots. Good airconditioning, big fridge, and fresh water on the room. Clean place. Really nice place to stay!
