Guest House Dorm Floressa

I think many complaints on here are out of line. It's a budget accommodation in Indonesia, if you want something fancy and modern, go to the expensive hotels.... Sure, the bathroom needs some work, but it does the job. There's an actual sit down toilet (manual flushing-really not a big deal and very common!), and the shower actually works. Or you can bucket shower if you prefer. Either way it gets the job done. The only problem I found was the sink was clogged. The room is massive with tile floors and A/C that works extremely well. They even include an extension cord which reaches far. Comfy bed. Shelves and mirror. Awesome. The door locks from either side. Super safe. The breakfast really amazed me for the price. Lots of food including fresh fruit.

It's pretty quiet in the afternoons for naps. However all night and early morning there is lots of noise. Not the owners fault though. It's the neighbors blasting music at all hours and the mosque starting its prayers at 4am. Followed by more loud music at 6am. Not a problem if you're not sensitive to noise.

The WC/shower room doesn't meet usual standards.

Cheapest stay in town and has a strong air conditioner and desk. Walkable to the grocery store, convenience store, restaurants and the food night market. Staff were pleasant and booked an early morning airport cab for me.

The bathroom is local style. Fine by me considering the price.
