Leaking water in the bathroom

Malini Homestay’de 8 gece kaldım ve kendimi gerçekten evimde gibi hissettim. Odam sade ama tertemizdi, bahçesi çok huzurluydu ve bulunduğu sokak oldukça sessizdi. Sabah kahvaltısı olmasa da çevrede yürüyerek ulaşılabilecek birçok güzel kafe var. Ubud Palace motorla aslında 5 dakika ama Ubud trafiği yoğun olduğu için çoğu zaman 15 dakikayı buluyor. Yürümeyi tercih ederseniz de yaklaşık 30–40 dakika sürüyor ama yol boyunca Ubud’un dokusunu hissedebiliyorsunuz. Motor kiralama konusunda da yardımcı oldular. Özellikle Malini ve annesine ilgileri, güler yüzleri ve misafirperverlikleri için ayrıca çok teşekkür ederim. Sade, sakin ve yerel bir deneyim arayanlar için kesinlikle öneririm.

I had a very good experience overall. For the price, it was the best budget option I found near Ubud. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable – just what I needed for a short stay.

couple of downsides to keep in mind. The internet wasn’t fast enough for me to work remotely, so it might not be ideal for digital nomads. Also, the bathroom is quite small – when you take a shower, the toilet seat gets wet. But totally manageable!

Very basic place, but for the price, it’s not bad. Don’t expect much—just the essentials. Good enough if you’re on a budget and not planning to spend much time indoors.

The place wasn’t very clean, and the host was mostly absent—we only exchanged a couple of messages when I needed something. I arrived at night for check-in and there was no one to receive me. I waited about 40 minutes outside, calling with no answer. Overall, not a great experience.
