Very cozy location on a small street with a market. Beautiful room and friendly hosts.

An oasis in the bustle of Ubud. I booked this room not realising quite how central it was, and would happily return. Beautiful, clean, light filled room with a great communal kitchen set up, and amazing hosts.

I had such an amazing stay in Manik House. It is located in a very quiet area but very close to the city center, aprox 8 minutes by walk. It is also next to the market but it’s very quiet during the night. You can find plenty of amazing restaurants around. This place is ideal if you are searching for a local vibe with a very chilled atmosphere. Also I was sleeping like a baby there thanks to very comfy bed. The room is very light and you can also enjoy amazing balcony with a view to the garden. Thank you! 🙏

Wonderful and helpful staff. Extremely comfortable beds and aircon, needed in the heat! It was right outside a lovely market and right in the centre of Ubud

The bathroom probably needs updating but it was fine for us. There were chickens not far away which made so much noise so I did not sleep much from 3-4 in the morning.

Great location, close to everything!

Comfy bed, very central location, very kind staff (in a way to just be kind, not to make money from you), view from the room, kitchen available to cook, own mini fridge, the towel was thick and fluffy, hot water to shower in! The owners were very gracious when I accidentally removed the bedroom key and took it to Amed! I managed to get it back to Ubud but they had to collect it from the bus station. They were so kind about it. They have a beautiful dress shop on the right hand side as you look at the entrance. I rebooked several times!

It would have been nice to have refillable water available as many places do. The air con wasn’t really cold enough for me personally, but most people would find it good.

personally i think the pillows are too soft for me. Stains on bathroom tiles. roasters did start making noise 6.30 every morning. But there's part of the local life, right? not a big issue to me.

The property is an extended room inside a family house compound. We were allowed to visit the family shrines. The hosts Nyoman and Kira were super nice and helpful. They drove us to see Kecak Dance which they personally recommended. They even offered to cook us dinner if we tell them in advance. They can offer driving tour services as well. There is a small convenience store in the house compound so we can buy water from there. This property only has 2 rooms and a shared kitchen enough for 4 people.

There is not daily cleaning service and no hairdryer.
