It was in a very lively area of Ubud, but it was on a side street in a family compound, so it was quiet. There are only 2 rooms - one upstairs and one downstairs. The room was lovely, fresh and roomy, clean, comfortable with a good hot water shower. AC worked well. Our downstairs room had a terrace with table and chairs - perfect for eating ice cream from the ice cream stand which was just down the side street. The owner was super nice. Be aware, however, that cars cannot go up the side street, but it is a short walk, and we were able to manage okay with our rather large luggage

The propery is located in the yard of the owners who also leave there. It is central, next to Ubud Palace. The room was very clear and the host was very nice and helpful.

The room needs better sealing from the outside at the doors and windows as insects or lizzards may come inside.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and I was blown away by the level of service and hospitality. The staff were impeccable and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. Martina, in particular, was always available to answer questions or help with anything I needed. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was powerful and refreshing. The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was close to all the major attractions, but it was also in a quiet area where I could get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent. Martina prepared a variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit, toast with jam, and eggs. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Pondok Serayu. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Considering the price and the location, it is the one of the best accommodations ever :) and the host was responsive and friendly! we were welcomed when we arrived and everytime we met her she asked us how we were, where we were going like that... so kind :) Thank you. Will visit again certainly! Highly recommend

the scent..? so strong when we got into the room. It seems like that the room needs ventilation after cleaned.
