As a solo traveller I had planned to give myself a month to get to know Bali. And start with Villa Santai as a first orientation point when I arrive on the island. I spent 3 nights there and the place met and exceeded all my expectations. So quiet, serene, clean rooms, nice breakfast and a beautiful garden. And I was so lucky to meet the host family who made me feel right at home and gave me an abundance of tips on what to see on the island. Both speak Indonesian fluently and are very conscious of the island culture and religion as well, with statues and offerings across the property. I can only recommend to spend some time here and get acclimated to the mysteries / beauty of this island. 🙏
