Island Retreat Cottage

The rooms and view are beautiful, it's a very peaceful place to stay and the beds were super comfy. Beautiful place around 10 mins scooter drive to mushroom bay or the main strip we had messaged in advance to ask if there were breakfast and lunch options because the accommodation is a 10 minute scooter ride from other food options.we were told there was only to arrive and say there isn't. we were really hoping that this was because there was a local ceremony for two days, which we obviously respected but even after this no breakfast option was offered. There was also no water refill point ( which is true for all of nusa lembongan), so we had to buy a LOT of bottled water which adds to the plastic problem in Indonesia.

Great place to stay, awesome views, Joe and his family are very attentive and easy to deal with, restaurant/laundry service/scooter rentals on site... we stayed for a month and loved every minute. We look forward to going back there on our next trip. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay!

It was peaceful and the view from the pool was stunning. Joe and his lovely wife Wayan were extremely accommodating and very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful! Joe and Wayan were so welcoming and helped us with booking tours and had scooters for hire, as well as just being beautiful people to have a chat with. The bungalows were very clean and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed being out of the main village of Jungutbatu and being able to literally retreat to the peace and quiet of our oasis.

Great location, lovely, quiet and peaceful. Room was spotless. Jo and his wife were great hosts and helped book two trips and our boat back to Bali. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottages with a comfortable bed, the pool area with the view was also beautiful as well as the gardens.

The hot water for the shower was a bit high

Joe and his wife are amazing host, they will organise anything you needs from tours to scooters! It’s out of town, amazing views and nice pool- not crowded! Get a scooter for ease of getting around!
