Villa Manouria - Marcel

Amazing views over Padangbai harbour. Truly delicious dinners both nights I was there. Lots of wildlife in the beautiful garden (and sometimes in my room). Really lovely and helpful owners.

These are not criticisms, more things for people to be aware of: - Google maps doesn’t tell you where the Villa actually is. If you have arranged transport there, make sure your driver contacts the Villa for details of how to get there (or you’ll get lost like I did). - The walk into town is via a long and steep staircase - just in case you have mobility issues. The view is worth the walk, but it meant I only walked down into town once a day as it was a hot walk down and back. - The wildlife are mostly outside but sometimes inside. I had a couple of geckos move in with me for a small part of my stay.

This place is incredible. I will come back to Bali just to stay here. It’s that good!

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we arrived! Fantastic views, amazing and personable owners and staff, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Excellent service as well whether it be room cleaning, transportation options or help with tours and local recommendations. The dogs, fish, and super cute turtles only added to the magic of this place. We would definitely stay here again! Shout out to mama Ketut, we love her :)

Wunderbare Gastgeber, schön angelegte Unterkunft, liebevoll und sauber. Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Incredible view & beautifully decorated, the family & staff are lovely.

Transport is an issue & can only be organised directly with the owner. Make sure you keep this in mind & you'll need a phone with internet so you can be contacted at the last minute.
