A comfortable stay. The housekeeper Nikki was great! They have the cutest of pets too!!!

The washrooms were small

location was good, close to the zoo, reptile park, bird park, silver making. If you want abit of piece outside busy Ubud this is a great location. In a traditional village, with traditional people.

I think other reviews for this homestay are not accurate. The rooms were not clean, the beds were uncomfortable, too much traffic noise at night, dogs barking all night, the kitchen was pretty disgusting, I wouldnt swim in the pool, the staff were not friendly nor helpful. The bathroom door couldnt close properly and was rusted. I moved next door to Semaya the next day, SEMEYA: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SERENE PLACE WITH WONDERFUL FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF, COMFORTABLE LARGE ROOMS AND BEDS, AMAZING BREAKFAST ALL INCLUDED, ALL ROOMS AND BATHROOM ARE TILED.

Uncomfortable bed, no hot water, dirty walls, rusty door, bathroom was poor, door didn't close properly

Closeness to everything. Good location.

No drinkable water. Staff very rarely there. Facilities not anything like the description. Bathroom didn't feel clean. Walls very outdated and chipped and peeling. Could feel every single spring in the bed. No help from staff on what to do, where to go, food, etc. Didn't know where the "family room with TV and ps2" was meant to be. Our friends opted to go next door, 100 times better.

We loved our stay. Great AC, great pool, great owner and his wife who helped us a lot in planning activities. Such a welcoming group. My kids loved the pets, they had 3 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny on the property. Very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Best for people who scooter around or don’t mind taking grabs/taxis into town. It was a little drive. We didn’t mind though.

Fantastic stay. The owner was the nicest. Helpful and kind. Also his mother and staff. I felt welcomed from the very first moment. I liked it so much, that I came back over and over again. It's a bit outside of Ubud, but that makes the Charme. It's calm and cozy. And with a scooter you are back in town in about 10 minutes. Rooms have AC, a fridge, a water cattle. Outside is a little shared kitchen. You can do your own laundry, swim in the pool and if you want to learn diving, the owner will be happy to teach you, since he is a professional dive master. Big big recommendation from my side ❤️ John and Niki, thank you guys so much

Room was spacious, strong aircon

There was no access to bottled water, hard to find who works here as there was no reception area, closest shop for water is 1.5k away so you have to make sure you stock up before getting back to hotel. The pool was dirty and warm. The location of the hotel was really hard to find, if you book a taxi through booking.com they bring you to the wrong place, and google maps says it’s 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Follow where it is on Apple Maps, and there’s a tiny faded blue sign outside.
