Staff services is good, breakfast is delicious.

No water supply in bathroom, need to wait for incoming water supply to take a bath, bathroom also not clean, seems old. Tv got no channel and not function. No mirror and dressing table. Just simple rest house with bed, rest chair, tv, and old cupboard.

The room was comfortable and clean. The building is older and has character. The family was very nice and Leo speaks great English and is extremely helpful, answering any questions I had via WhatsApp during my stay. He also arranged my share taxi to Lake Toba and a scooter rental. WiFi was good and suitable for remote work or streaming. Breakfast was an omelette each day.

Berestagi is renowned for its fruit, so some fruit for breakfast seems like a natural choice. The scooter came with only 2/5 of a tank of petrol which was an unpleasant surprise considering it was the price paid for rental with a full tank everywhere else, but that’s probably not the property’s fault.

町の中心部に近い立地です。部屋はシンプルですが必要なものは揃っています。シャワーは熱いお湯が十分出ます。宿の方はツアーなどを勧めてこないですが、こちらから聞けば親族のガイドさんを教えてくれます（宿からのツアーの押し売りが嫌な人は、この宿がいいと思います）。早朝の登山ツアーに行きましたが、少人数の良いツアーでした。ツアーが終わった後でも朝食を用意してくれたのは良かったです。

これと言っておすすめの点がないところかもしれません。しかし、可もなく不可もなくという感じで、何か悪いわけではありません。

Le propriétaire est sympa et il nous a mis en contact avec des super guides pour visiter la region et faire le trek du volcan. L'expérience était globalement positive, cependant l'entretien des lieux mériterait un peu plus d'attention.
