Rose Cottage

A wonderful place to relax in total eco calmness! Very good communication with the owners. We were met with great hospitality despite arriving after check-in hours (discussed in advance). House has everything you might need for a perfect vacation. Strong wi-fi, very good shower, beds were amazing! There is a lovely fireplace if you bring your own firewood. One thing to consider. Outside the house is total silence. Just stars in the sky and fresh air. It is a rural house with quite thin walls, so if you are sensitive to the noise and two bedrooms are in use, make sure to bring earplugs for the best comfort. If one party is asleep and another keeps awake and uses facilities, it might be heard. This is obvious, as you are not in a hotel. But thought it is worth mentioning for future guests.

A good sized traditional property with the facilities you need for a visit to this lovely area. The location is very peaceful.

Just a couple of minor things: There were some issues with electrical sockets not working in the bedroom which meant I had to dry my hair in the hallway. The furniture is of it’s time and the bed was too soft for me ( just a personal preference, maybe perfect for others!).

It was a nice clean place to stay and I rented it for a decent price. Having it to ourselves was great. No complaints about the house. The homeowner gave us a quick tour and pointed out everything we needed to know about the house.

Nothing against the house or homeowner but it was not an easy place to find unless you had google maps available. I did not. The GPS on the car was not particularly good which made it difficult for me to find.

Very Clean , very Comfortable & Great Location. So near to Killarney & Tralee.

Patricia and John are the best hosts you can think of when staying in a vacation home. They are ready to help you almost day and night whenever you need them.

Everything was very good.

The house was lovely, everything we needed was there. Easy check in and best nights sleep I have had for a long time. Can definitely recommend this. Just note that the location given by booking.com is exact to avoid driving to the wrong address.
