Great location for wedding attending in castle durrow

Shower pressure wasn’t great but not an issue really

Durrow is a lovely town with a historical centre along the river. The staff were excellent and found room for us in the restaurant despite not arriving until 8. The food and service was excellent. We had a dog and two couples so we were placed in the courtyard. This was fabulous as we had a lounge area to be together in.

We couldn’t get the showers to work properly (water temp) but we didn’t report this and if we’d asked I’m Sure they’d have sorted it out for us. The furniture and fittings were high quality.

I highly recommend staying here. Very clean and hygienic. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had asked for an early check in and they checked us in before noon. The beds were comfortable and it was a perfect location - right beside Castle Durrow and only minutes from Abbeyleix.

Great location. Very close to the Castle Durrow hotel. Lady staff member very nice she gave us a phone charger as we forgot ours. Room was spacious.

Breakfast was quite expensive at 25 euro per person. We ate elsewhere and got it way cheaper.
