Close to markets walk everywhere around the main part of town, friendly staff .. enjoyed stay !!

This was my second time staying at Dewangga Ubud and honestly, I loved it just as much as the first. The staff are what truly make this place so special. They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and genuinely treat you like family from the moment you arrive. They are always checking in to make sure you're comfortable and happy, which creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is also perfect - super central and walking distance to everything in Ubud, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful considering how busy the area is. It feels like a little hidden oasis away from the chaos. I’ll definitely be back again!

Great place to stay in Ubud! I stayed for one night and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were very kind and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The hotel is also conveniently located in central Ubud, close to everything. Would love to come back!

Here's my official complaint to learn from. "Upon arrival, I was shown a room that was significantly inferior to the accommodation advertised on your platform. The unit presented: Did not match the listing photographs Appeared to be of substantially lower quality Included a unit that was not represented anywhere in the listing This constitutes misleading and deceptive conduct. When I raised this issue and refused the room, I contacted the property. During a prolonged negotiation (approximately one hour), the general manager repeatedly attempted to coerce me into: Cancelling the booking myself (which would trigger full charges despite prepayment as a non-refundable booking), or Accepting a “no-show” classification (also resulting in financial penalty,I already paid) Both options would have caused me to pay twice for accommodation I did not receive. During this call, the manager became verbally abusive and ended the conversation by stating: “then go, fuck yourself, you’re not going to get anything back,” before hanging up. Following this, the property attempted to delay a refund by insisting I return days later for cash reimbursement, which was not feasible as I was only staying in Ubud for two nights. Only after further escalation — including recording evidence and indicating I would involve tourist police — did the property issue a refund and confirm they would manage the cancellation. As a direct result of this situation: I experienced significant distress and pressure I lost considerable time resolving the dispute onsite. I had to secure last-minute alternative accommodation at approximately double the cost I have supporting evidence available, including: Video recordings of the room and interactions Photos showing discrepancy from listing Payment confirmation Details of the manager involved Given the seriousness of this matter, I requested a formal investigation into the property for misrepresentation and abusive behaviour.

The location is very central and the staff are very friendly. The manager greeted us and staff also show us to the room. Overall clean room but nothing special, design is very outdated, nothing like the photo advertised.

The shower/bath tub design is very poor, there is no shower curtain and very hard to get into the egg shape bath tub not to mention fall risk (also look dirty to me), there is water/scum stain over the wall and side of the tub and bathroom get wet after shower. The rest of the room is clean. Also constructions on site making it very noisy during the day. Worst case is that my daughter got bitten by bed bugs and ruined the trip. More than 15 bites all over her face and arms. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
