Emplacement excellent et calme.

Location was excellent Air-conditioning was good Staff were helpful

The location - beachfront on the north shore; it doesn’t get better than that!

The property badly needs some renovation work, especially the bathroom The taps are badly corroded, the mirror damaged.

The staff at Yaya~ Yan & Mohammed were exceptional. So helpful, kind & considerate. I loved living with the Bali Sea on my doorstep & swimming with turtles every day. I will never forget this. Yaya is located on the best place of Gili Meno in my opinion. If you want to see turtles every day when you snorkel, definitely stay here. I also loved hearing the sea throughout the night. A little bit of paradise this is.

The cockroaches that would come like clockwork every night to the bathroom. This can’t be helped, it’s no reflection on the place as the bathroom is partly open but I just really don’t like them. I also didn’t like how one of the women from Blue Coral spoke to me. Accusing me of breaking a wooden sunbed, which I hadn’t & speaking to me in a very disrespectful way. There is definitely better ways to communicate but Yan definitely helped & eased a very uncomfortable situation.

First and foremost, I booked Yaya bungalow for the view, and it was the best, closest bungalow to the ocean on the whole island. Salty water in the shower

The bungalow is right at the beach and the people there were very relaxed and friendly. Every question we had was promptly answered or being taken care of. We enjoyed every morning our breakfast with a ocean view. The warung next door serves delicious food and juices all day. We were able to go twice for snorkeling with a local boat right in front of the bungalow. They catered to our needs and made sure that we went swimming with turtels and saw a lot of colourful fish. It felt like a big family and everyone was welcome. Be prepared that the shower is cold saltwater, so laundry is not advisable. This is the same everywhere on the island as it lacks a desalination plant. We did not mind as it gave us real beach vibe :-)

I was the second time on Gili Meno and felt like the mosquitos got worse. Staying outside after sunset and eating dinner was quite a challenge. So be prepared to have enough repellent with you.
