If you want to be out of the Sanur beach area this location is good. Lots of local warungs to eat at and a handy laundrette within walking distance

Further out than what we thought , definitely need a vehicle or use a taxi.

The place has much potential, but there are many better choices available. Please read further.

It was absolutely NOT at described. We stayed in the King Suite, which boasts 'Guests can make meals in the fully equipped kitchen that has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware . . . this suite also features a tea and coffee maker and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.' This was not true. The fully equipped kitchen is outside, and was not fit for use. The refrigerator was inside, but dirty and not turned on. There was no tea and coffee maker, other than a kettle. We took a bath, and there was NO hot water. There were old toiletries in the bathroom and dirty mats, about the size of a bath mat on the floor. We tried to give constructive feedback to the owner, and he basically refuted all of feedback, to say he was short staffed, and that we didn't run the hot water long enough. There was NO hot water when the bath was about 1/3 full. We asked to look at other rooms and he said they weren't ready, but he would show us the next day, but we checked out on time, and he had not returned.

The basic setup of the hotel is great once you get used to it. When you first arrive and do not know what to expect then you are a bit confused. But once you realise what type of experience they are offering on terms of the traditional style then you realise how cool the hotel is. Also like the chicken family in the room courtyard.

The rooster crowing at 4am in the first morning caught me out a tad. But the owner quickly relocated it so it was faint until 6am. No obvious sign of the hotel name that I could see. Ran off the street number only. Worked it out in the end.

I like the fact that it is close to every strategic places in Sanur. The staff is also kind, helpful and attentive on every ocassion or situation during my stay. The host, Mr. Juarez also very helpful and attentive during my stay at Puri Kutat Lestari. Great value for the money spend, and I definitely would come back and spread it to my folks.

Wonderful experience of a one night stay in a classic Balinese accommodation. Room is clean with a lovely Balinese garden. Thanks to the host Damara for being super responsive and helpful during my stay. Great value of money for staying close to main hubs in Sanur, would definitely come back!

The location is close to Sanur and Denpasar city, making it easy to go anywhere nearby.
