Maha Neka Villa

Maha Neka is a little gem in beautiful Sidemen. The bungalow is beautifully furnished, incredibly comfortable and with a gorgeous view of Mount Agung. Apart from being outrageously good value for money (definitely get breakfast included), what sets it apart is the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the hosts, Ari and Ayu. They made us feel so at home and went above and beyond to take care of us. We were sad to leave and we'll definitely be back!

Great location, clean, comfortable and spacious

We really enjoyed our stay at Maha Neka. The place and facilities are very basic, but it was all we needed. The views from the terrace are fantastic and the people running this place are so lovely. We were able to rent a scooter directly from them. The location is really good, close to great warungs and cafes, but you’ll need a scooter to get around Sidemen and other areas. Note that the villa has some permanently open holes in the walls (for ventilation, I assume), which means some geckos and bugs will inevitably make their way in. The sound of the surrounding nature was also quite loud during the night - personally, I didn’t mind and slept really well, but my partner had to use ear plugs.

Great location and friendly family. Clean and nice room and own terrace. Drinking water available. We also went on a day trip with the host and breakfast was really good.

Ari and his family hosted us. It was an amazing stay. They were so helpful and friendly, the villa was clean, beautiful and located very beautifully

The WiFi could be a bit better. If Maha Neka Villa would offer some drinks or coffee and had good WiFi, we would have stayed there more, because we really liked the place
