Maha Neka Villa

Prachtige ligging, heerlijk rustig. Prima bedden eigenlijk alles was goed. Bij mensen in een diepe tuin. Het eten bij buurman rechts ( met rug naar accommodatie) was niet het beste ( ook niet slecht) maar een heerlijk vriendelijke man. Alleen daar al om zijn we er nog een keer gaan eten en hebben veel gelachen.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Hele leuke huisjes, midden in de natuur met een prachtig uitzicht. Ze maken het vaak schoon. Lieve familie die voor je klaar staat. De eigenaar heeft ons de omgeving laten zien, erg leuk! En we kregen heerlijk ontbijt

Peaceful location and value for money. If you like nature sounds, this is it. I’m very sensitive to road noise and you barely hear some minimal traffic noise. Ari and his family are super sweet. The breakfast is superb. Room was súper clean. I’d stay again for sure.

L'endroit, la place de parking, le calme, la proximité des restaurants à pied. Vue sur le volcan 🌋 la sympathie des hôtes et le service laundry.

Ganz klar 10/10 Diese herzliche Art und Weise mit der man empfangen wird ist sensationell. Die ganze Familie steht hinter der Gästeservice. Die Unterkunft ist toll. Der Ausblick auf den Vulkan wunderbar. Es gibt alles was man benötigt und wenn noch organisieren die Gastgeber es. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber gut. Die Region baut sich gerade zum Touristengebiet aus. Ob es gut oder schlecht ist wird man sehen. Sehr viele Restaurants. Sehr viel im nahen Umkreis zu entdecken. Badezimmer ist sehr groß. Das Bett bequem. Man bekommt Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Es ist sehr sehr ruhig. Ich werde wieder kommen.

The hosts at Maha Neka were the loveliest people - very thoughtful and went above and beyond eg. Taking our shoes in when it started raining. The room was big and spacious and the bed was fairly comfortable. We loved the veranda - it was spacious and had amazing views. The location is perfect, very near lots of warungs and a nice walk to the rice terraces. Breakfast was very nice.

WiFi was virtually non existent, no matter where we were on the property. We got asked to switch rooms a few days into our stay which meant we wasted an entire morning having to repack. Apparently we weren’t in the room we booked at the start, which I accept, but why were we not?? The rooms are open air, meaning anything can get in (see photo). The lack of air con was difficult and the fan didn’t get through the mosquito net which led to some sleepless nights. The rooms weren’t particularly clean - they were only clean ‘on the surface’. There was thick dust and dirt everywhere and they were thoroughly in need of a deep clean. There was not enough hot water in the showers!! My partner and I could not shower back to back because one of them would be cold!
