Vizafogó Panzió és Étterem

The location is perfect on the edge of the island. It has wonderful view from the room to the river and from the terrace of the restaurant. The breakfast was fine and the kitchen for lunch and dinner is perfect. The room size is huge for 3 of us.

Hotel is upstairs of the restaurant . We stayed at balcony king suit . The room has a river wiew and the wiew is amazing . And in this room you have too much space . That's mean if you go to the Paris or France you can easily understand what İ try to explain . The staff was helpfull and the room clean is enough.

The staff , probably owner or co-owner of hotel . He tried to get money exchange rate cost and booking commission cost and ofcouse we paid it . Our advice from this experience : If the system is available you should pay the room price directy on system. The other all the things were good for us

Complicated entrance after closure.

I know Baja well - it is my late wife's home town, I knew it 40 years ago under communism. It is the most unspoilt town I know in Hungary, as foreign visitors rarely go there. I, on the other hand, go there often. The hotel is on one of the islands, the one most accessible from town. It's a 10 minute walk to Beke Ter, one of the largest town squares in Central Europe, along a shady road: traffic on the island is minimal, with the exception of learner drivers :) The Sugovica is also only 10 minutes away, lovely spot for a swim. The hotel is fairly new - I have eaten in the restaurant before, but never stayed there. Staff were excellent, very welcoming, parking was not an issue, and 2 friends joined me for a yummy supper. Room was spotless and the shower was almost painful, it was so strong, plus I had a great view of the river (OK, the Sugovica). Would I stay here again ? possibly not, see below, but don't let my pet hate put you off.

The room had air conditioning, which I HATE as I am a light sleeper and the fans keep me awake. I was not able to turn it off as I don't understand technical Hungarian: this meant a poor night's sleep. Before booking again I will ask if it is possible to turn it off.

Even though we missed breakfast, the chef offered us a nice omelet with veggies, it was a very nice gesture!

The room was a bit smaller than expected compared to pics, but still perfectly fine

Beautiful location on the river with excellent restaurant on site, very comfortable, clean rooms. Always staying here when traveling to Baja. Staff very professional and Gàbor is the funniest waiter ever. Breakfast was great as well! Thanks for waking up early for me . Have a wonderful summer guys.

Great place for relax and enjoy in nature. All around the facilities are park and playground, both for kids as for adults. City center is 15 minutes of walk. Great stuff, you only have to sit on terrace and enjoy in peace and view. I was with two kids in a big room, with terrace to the river, it was big enough for four of us.

Must be aware that rooms are above the restaurant so there is a noise present until closing time.
