Good location and nice grounds with each room having outdoor seating. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. Although there was a bit of a smell when I checked in, it cleared up after leaving the door open. The AC also works well. There is storage so you have place to put your things. The WiFi is pretty decent - you could get away with taking work calls from here, although sometimes there is a lag on video calls. There is a coworking space 15 metres from the homestay and lots of laundry options throughout the road. If you’re looking for a central location in a quiet area this is a good, affordable option.

I do think the rooms need some love. The floor tiles in my room were sinking into the ground. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable. Side table lights would be good so you don’t always have to keep the big light on. However, I do think some rooms have them. The water is hot but the pressure is weak, and one night the water wasn’t running at all but it was on the next morning. One thing to be mindful of is that they close the front gate at night. Like bolt it shut. Usually there is someone at the door to let you in, but one night I got back and no one was there. Luckily a friend had dropped me home so I was able to stay with them for the night.
