The owner is friendly and the place was very clean, nice atmosphere and the garden gives it a nice scenery. Loved the friendly cats and the outdoor shower. Very nicely designed.

The area didn't feel safe. We wanted to go out for dinner at night but decided to stay in instead because we were too afraid to leave after dark around 7, we had some dirty looks from people and it is pitch black on the street after sunset. It is not the owners fault of course but after staying in Ubud it was just a different a vibe. So sorry we can't leave a better review but we went from feeling completely safe in a location to absolutely terrified to leave because of the area. Access to the property is bumpy as well so if you have luggage you pretty much have to rely on a horse carriage which you shouldn't use as the horses on the island are not kept well, very skinny and too young the be carrying heavy loads, we had no luggage so we could rent a bike but still not great because of the bumpy roads.
