Rumah Sunyi

I stayed more than 2 weeks and had everything I needed. The rooms are spacious enough and the garden is awesome to chill. The staff was very helpful, they even gave me my own water tank so I did not have to go to the kitchen all the time. It is a bit of a walk to beach, but I didn’t mind walking. Stayed a couple of days near the main road too and couldn’t stand the constant noise from everywhere there, so came back.

This was the perfect start of our trip in Indonesia. Dul and Harri were incredible hosts and we found two good friends in them. The Bungalows are spacious, modern and have everything you need, even strong enough wifi for video calls. The breakfast was delicious and they make incredible banana pancakes. We would love to come back again and recommend it to anyone! Thank you for taking care of us!

Hary is the best host. He knows a little Slovenian so we made a lot of jokes and had fun. The stay is very nice and quiet, breakfast amazing

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and the whole property was great! Our host, Dul, was really welcoming, helped us with everything we need and he made us a delicious breakfast. We could rent bikes for 50000 IDR per day per bike. Loved our stay here !

The only minus about this place is that if you have a lot of luggage, you will need to take a horse cart because there is no paved road. Otherwise, the location is very beautiful and close to everything as the island is very small.

What a lovely place. Harry and Dul were exceptional hosts! They spoke good English and were able to answer all questions and arrange whatever I needed. Terima kasih banyak untuk kalian berdua! Property is in the center of the island, 20 minute walk to the beach. Might be a con for some but this is exactly what I wanted since it was quiet and away from the parties. Breakfast was excellent every day. Aircon worked well. Wifi was strong and I had no problem doing my video conferences for work. Shower was clean with hot water. Beds were comfortable. Several good local restaurants and shops within a few minutes. I love that the property isn't crowded. There's plenty of space and privacy for all guests.

Cash only, but I expected this before arrival. Would love the option to pay on booking or at the property with a credit card. But I'll still be back! The location on Google maps and booking is on the wrong side of the street and about 50 meters away. Good signage though, so no problem finding it. Just an FYI for future guests.

Loved staying at Rumah Sunyi! The bungalows are magnificent. Hery and his friend are super friendly. Breakfast is amazing. Very quiet place away from the busy main street.

WiFi is a bit wonky, good enough for working, not stable enough for meeting calls. Haven’t found decent WiFi in other places on the island though.

. - Staff is friendly - Normal room, comfortable, has hot and cold shower and amenities were provided - Breakfast was OK, they will bring it to you in the balcony

. - Keep in mind that it is not in a perfect location. You will need to walk at least 15 minutes to reach whatever you need (restaurants, bars, beach, markets, everything....) - Tours are more expensive than in the center - Bike rental is 50k a day, not free anymore as others have wrote
