Sagar Guest House

I really enjoyed my stay in Sagar guest house, they have really nice room and the rooftop is amazing! I big thanks to Paresh who helped from the start and offers amazing desert safari, his hospitality its much appreciated

The property was very clean, cozy and hospitable. Prime location in the heart of the fort. Beautiful city views and a cosy window to sit and watch the sunset. I also enjoyed a desert safari organised by Sagar. It was so nice sleeping under the stars and having the trip from start to finish organised. I could not recommend this guest house enough.

Nothing to not like about the property.

I cannot recommend Sagar guest house enough : located inside the fort of Jaisalmer, with a great view from the rooftops, coupled with nicely decorated rooms and good food, it makes you feel quite at home. The staff is friendly, always ready to help. The guest house also provides safari options in the Thar desert : I was convinced to go on a small expedition, with the plan being to ride camels in the dunes and camp under the stars at night, and it was by far one of my main highlights of travelling around Rajasthan. Try it for yourself ☀️

Nothing much. It was good.

This is a beautiful location in the heart of the Fort. Jaisalmer is hot, but there is no better place to spend your evening that sitting on the roof watching the colours change as the sun sets. The food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was excellent.

It’s an older property, so expect steeper steps and basic rooms. But this adds to the charm and authenticity of a true desert adventure.

Location

Electricals didn’t work properly. You have to walk 500m climb through the fort to reach there.
