The property was clean and well managed. Since the moment I arrived i felt home. Parish helped me a lot to discover Jaisalmer. They offered me chai in my arrival and departure, and helped me to book the desert experience and ended up being wonderful!

Maybe the fact that you dint have permanent hot water so you cannot have hot shower whenever you want. But it is understandable as they warm up the water with wood.

Staff felt like family, Location perfectly perched on fort walls..views from rooftop restaurant and chillout zone ,homecooked food.would recommend to anyone we meet. Camel and desert safaris easily booked here .

The place is inside the fort with good view and homely cooked food available at the restaurant above. The fort itself is very clean even if there are many tourists around. The view from the restaurant is really good and they are creating a family kind of vibe at the place. The desert safari they suggest is also good but I hope they include desert private safari with 2 nights and a day as well. The shopping in the fort is great but they rip you off including tuk-tuks.

L'interno dell'albergo e il rooftop è molto carino, anche alcune stanze che ho avuto modo di sbirciare. La posizione è buona dentro il forte . Nonostante ci siano stati dei disguidi, ho apprezzato molto che il ragazzo della reception mi abbia dato la possibilità di utilizzare la stanza fino alle 19 nel giorno del check out e che mi abbia accompagnata in motorino a prendere l'autobus. Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare ancora. Ho interagito poco con un signore anziano che credo sia il papà ma mi ha dato proprio l'impressione di essere una brava persona.

Purtroppo la pulizia scarseggia all'interno delle stanze e le lenzuola sono la parte peggiore. Come già indicato da altri viaggiatori e anche sul posto,. Ho dovuto insistere un paio di volte per avere un cambio lenzuolo, perché appena chiesto, me ne è stato dato uno davvero sporco. Poi, mi hanno sostituito anche l'asciugamano con uno nuovo. La camera era sprovvista di sapone, carta igienica e cestino della spazzatura tutto mi è stata data dopo averlo fatto notare. L'acqua calda è un altro problema , non è evidenziato da nessuna parte che la disponibilità è in base ad una fascia oraria ( solitamente è la mattina) ,l'ho scoperto proprio perché dovevo fare la doccia ed era ormai sera. Il ragazzo mi ha acceso il boiler e il primo giorno tutto ok. Il secondo giorno dopo un massaggio , nel pomeriggio , avevo bisogno di fare una doccia e altri membri dello staff mi hanno preparato un secchio di acqua calda... così dovevo lavarmi secondo loro. Anche qui mi hanno detto che non era possibile fare una doccia calda e solo dopo altrettanta insistenza mi hanno acceso il boiler. Non è possibile consumare nemmeno un pasto, quindi anche la colazione. Perché il ristorante è chiuso. Ora.. ho letto che il problema dell'acqua calda è un problema generale di jaisalmer. No. Altre Guest house , sempre all'interno del forte e con la stessa fascia di prezzo, non hanno questo problema e sono altrettanto familiari. È la seconda volta che vengo in India e sono una viaggiatrice zaino in spalla, è vero che le lenzuola pulite( pulite si intende che sono appena state lavate e non usate da nessun altro )non ci sono quasi mai , è altrettanto vero che non ho mai dovuto insistere per cambiarle. Sono cose che fanno la cura dell'ospite e basilari a mio avviso.

La Sagar Guest House est un excellent choix pour votre hébergement à Jaisalmer. Les chambres sont confortables, propres, le restaurant propose une excellente cuisine et la vue depuis le rooftop est fantastique notamment le soir. De plus les propriétaires des lieux sont très gentils et le gérant parle le français. L'emplacement est idéal. Je recommande à 100 %

We took the roon wih city view, the view was nice the place was cozy and very clean everything was on point

There were no soap, or anything but it was not an big issue. The host was very good

Location was perfect, staff was helpfull and the breakfast was good

Less water pressure on wash basin, AC got switched off at night
