Great location. Maddy is very responsive.

Great location right next to the beach. Comfortable room with a nice balcony. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants and the top local sites

Owners/staff were very kind and the place is perfectly located. We arrived around 6:30am (booked the room for the night before, of course) and somebody was in contact with us and available to meet us and let us in even at the very inconvenient hour. Room was very clean, balcony was wonderful, and though we didn't need it in January, A/C was provided. Good, basic option in Mahabalipuram.

This is budget accommodation (for foreign travelers, at least), but we tried to choose the highest tier of "budget" (in this town, anything more expensive goes straight to Radisson Blu levels of comfort/expense) and their most expensive room. Considering this niche, there are a few very easy changes they could make that would dramatically increase guest comfort. Providing two towels for two guests (we only received one) and bedding slightly more comfortable than a single, very synthetic and irritating, probably $3-4 throw blanket (no top sheet, which is totally fine at this price point if the one blanket isn't so aggressively uncomfortable) would go a long way.

We arrived from chenay airport.at 23.00 The homestay sent us a taxi, & from that point it was a soft landing in India The small village, the immidiate closeness to the shore& to the fishermen boats,the walking distance to the sculpterers workshops, to the ruins near by The willingness of mudy to share with us a little of his life (so different to our's)

Brilliant place. Room much better even than the pictures. Spacious, great little balcony, comfy bed. Loo roll, extra sheets. Host lovely and perfect location right by the beach.

Nothing

Location is beautiful and Madhavan was very helpful and kind. Only issue we faced was access to vegetarian food near by and coffee tea shop. We had to walk a km to get them. Rest everything was great.

The host was fabulous, great English and very helpful with advice. His wife did henna tattoos for us, and the location is right on the beach.

No air-conditioner in 1 of the 3 rooms, only hot water in 2 of the 3 rooms.

Madhavan, the hotel owner, is a really nice person who shares information about his life and his family with you, helps you wherever he can and is open and interested in his guests. And all this without being imposing or becoming too private. From the first moment on, I felt as if I was a good friend of his. Also, the guesthouse is located in an area in which many families of the lower middle class live - it felt very authentic to stay in their middle.

I missed a place to hang up my wet towel, and for Western guests toilet paper would be nice as well :-) for the rest, all perfect - thank you so much for this stay!
