Old Castle

Bed very comfortable air conditioning great and hot shower. Right on the beach. Owner great host.couldn’t ask for more plus snorting and diving available. Thanks Michael .

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The owner is a super nice host and cares about his customers. The food was great and especially the hamburger the owner cooked for me. Lots to do with in walking distance.

The refrigerator needs to be replaced because it didn’t keep things very cold. But it would also be really nice if there could be a bigger fridge in the apartment one with a separate freezer door that’s a little bit bigger too hold some ice. Also, a small microwave would be nice to have in the room.

Excellent food

This place was great. I arrived after a 2 1/2 van ride from Panglao. I immediately noticed the location… perfect!..right on the beach. As i walked on the property I happened to run into the owner (super friendly and accommodating). He showed me the room and the property and made me feel at home.. the room was as expected. It was simple room facing the beach. It had AC , hot water, toilet and shower and nice bed. This is not a super luxury resort, it a laid back getaway for travelers. It you need an immaculate room and property resort…then Bohol is not for you. There is a private beach area that belongs to Old Castle. It also has a nice bar with good music and food.. Staff was awesome… very friendly and not stop working. A typhoon hit all 3 days i was there.. they were raking up debris as soon as the rain stopped to keep the property nice looking. You are 3 minute walk to the food market area… and 6 minute walk to the karandaria area. I would definitely stay here again

Mikel was a magnificent host. He could not do enough for us. Centrally located with a bar on the beach. Superb food and drink at value prices

It’s the province, so toilet is in the shower as expected. No ability to use credit card.

We stayed in the East Wing side of the hotel overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view from our bedroom and a few steps to the beach. We're not far from Anda Food Park also about 3 minutes walk. Friendly staff and the owner was also welcoming. They have a Doberman dog which was friendly and good natured. Likes to hang out with us 😊

The A/C was very noisy and very loud and noticeably during the night. We had to turn it off at night time which was making our sleep uncomfortable. The TV did not work.
