Quinta do Castelo

Kind staff, beautiful old house in spectaculair olive tree environment, bed was comfortabel, breakfast very complete. Recommend to everyone.

Would be nice to make tea in the room in the evening.

What a fantastic place truly traditional in every respect, a living museum filled with history but modern in outlook.

As with some rural aspects of Portugal electricity supplies are on and off but never off for more than a few minutes.

The staff was super friendly and they were so welcoming of my dogs! The indoor yard was great to let the dogs out and the atmosphere was friendly.

There was no way to cover the lights in the apartment and there was a public light just outside the window. It was super hot during that night (not their fault!) and the only way to let the air from the window to enter was to pull up the curtains completely.

Location in country side. Wonderful manor. Great breakfast Great hosts

Barebones accommodation. Lack of electrical outlets, proper lighting, shower, furniture, closet.

In the country, somewhere different to stay. Lovely host, nice pool and garden. Restaurant on site - they very generously cooked us dinner as the only diners. Accommodation is simple, clean and good.

The ambient, the people, their sympathy and will to serve us in our requests, including early breakfast and late request for dinner. Lovely dinner (doo it was expensive) and good breakfast.

I had lots of insects in my room, small crickets and singing crickets. The bath room was cool, but the rest of the room didn't fit visually with the farm, in my opinion. Lack of detail on the room.

It was musty damp with dog poop right outside our room. Pool was dirty It was so bad that we had to book another hotel

Large historic Quinta on hillside with lovely views and peaceful location.
