The hosts are absolutely lovely, very welcoming and warm. The guest house is very quiet and the breakfasts and pastries (all seemed homemade btw..) are incredible. Best breakfasts we had throughout our 3 week tour of southwest England.

Our twin mattresses were a bit bouncy, seemed like spring mattresses, but still comfortable enough.

An excellent choice of venue!! The owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating! Believe they have won an award for their breakfasts. It was not difficult to work out why. Would thoroughly recommend this venue to others

One other guest was a Sheffield Utd supporter which was unfortunate!! Seriously though, no dislikes apart from having to check out at the end of the week.

Nothing about my trip to stratton garden's i didn't like

We were greeted by our very friendly host. Our room was a good size, our en-suite was spotless as was our room . The shower was excellent! Everything was finished to a very high standard . Our breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Homemade bread, homemade crumpets, homemade pastries and conserves. All very tasty ! We sampled the full Cornish breakfast . Would highly recommend a stay here! One of the very best B&B’s we have ever stayed at.

Everything was fantastic. Would have liked a jug or bottle of water and possibly some paper tissues ! However no having those things did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean throughout and breakfast delicious. Fresh ingredients and home baked bread too. Gardens were lovely....all exceptional.

Room was absolutely lovely very clean and comfy Bathroom was great, clean modern and fab shower Local pub within few mins walk and fabulous food Great WiFi signal, tea coffee etc in room lovely soft towels. Sat in the garden it was so peaceful and serene. Definitely a place to relax. Bude beach and shops within a short drive/few miles Owners were a pleasure to speak to, very helpful, the food was cooked very well and the pastries were yummy The house cat also welcomed us!

Nothing to dislike

Fantastic quiet location. Amazing breakfast. Gill is a fantastic cook and offers a great choice. Beautiful garden. Short walk from the King's Arms which served the best Steak and Ale pie. Short drive from Bude which has lots to offer and some beautiful walks - St Nectan's waterfall, Hartland Quay, SW coast path, Boscastle and Tintagel.

Wouldn't change anything except possibly blackout blinds as the sun put in an unexpected appearance early one morning 😄
