Casa Algarbe

We travel a lot and know what real comfort and cleanliness are. This is the first time we’ve seen such attention to guest accommodation on Booking.com. We were especially impressed by the clean, fresh, high-quality bed sheets and warm blankets. The bedding made us feel like we were staying in a high-quality hotel. We stayed in a room on the top floor. There is only one room there, called “Laranjeira,” and it has no shared walls with neighbouring rooms, making it extremely quiet. The high-quality windows and doors provide excellent soundproofing and insulation. The blackout blinds are the best I have ever seen. The rooftop patio is just a few steps away, where we could enjoy the sun. The kitchen is well organised and fully equipped with everything you need. There is also a spacious dining area with a lovely atmosphere. Paid parking is available on the street in front of the residence (approximately €1/hour, free from 7pm to 9am). However, when leaving, we noticed free parking about a 10-minute walk further from the centre. Within just 10 minutes, you can reach the old town centre, and everything is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Algarbe. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with a a large communal sitting area and kitchen with plenty of cooking facilities and storage space. There is also a small seating area outside to enjoy the sun. Our room was very clean and cosy with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The apartment is close to the old town of Faro and near plenty of cafes / shops etc. It was a great base for a short trip to Faro and we would recommend staying here. The communication from the host was perfect with clear and helpful instructions, and they responded promptly to any questions.
