Riad Dar Omar

My stay was perfect! Everything has been taken care of, I’ve got all the information and support to feel myself safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Riad, the rooms are cozy and well organised, and location can’t be better. Thank you again for taking such a good care of me!

The very friendly and helpful owner Omar, you can ask for his help and knowledge concerning all of the local touristic attractions and you will get the best results possible and he is reachable at any time The Riad is situated right beside the main pedestrian Zone /Soukk /Medina, We spend really a great time with Omar's Riad

I liked the style inside and the rooftop is very cute! The breakfast was tasty and the lady who cooked it was sweet! Omar the owner was helpful.

We had spiders, bugs and ants in our room. Ants were in the bed. During our two night stay the bugs were not removed. It was also not so easy to find the Riad. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell but that is very often in such old buildings. They also ask you in the end to give them 10 stars, I think it’s unfair to the other guests, because if you book something with a 9,1 rating you expect no ants in your bed, at least.

We were lucky enough to stay at Riad Dar Omar in June 2025, and feel very privileged to have experienced such incredible hospitality by Omar. We were provided a great map prior to our arrival to help us find the Riad from the Bab Bou Jeloud (main Blue Gate to Medina) which was super easy to follow. We were greeted by Omar, with a very jovial demeanour and check in was simple and quick. Riad Dar Omar is a beautifully decorated and well maintained, and our room was just as lovely. With an intricately painted roof, carved walls and beautiful Morocco tiles- it was certainly what we’d hoped for our time in Fes. Breakfast was a generous assortment of food and on days when we left earlier than breakfast time, we were left food to takeaway which was very kind. Omar happily discussed with us our time in Fes and gave us advice on what we could do. He also helped to arrange a day trip to Chefchaouren which was excellent. I’d happily recommend Riad Dar Omar to family and friends, as well return to Riad Dar Omar in the future. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Omar was really friendly. The Riad was beautiful and it was clean. The breakfast was really good and complete.

It's a bit difficult to find the entrance to the Riad since it's in a small dead-end street. Omar came to pick us up, so there was no problem.

I especially appreciated Omar’s hospitality and the fact that the house was really very clean. Everything was as agreed. I can highly recommend a stay with Omar. Best regards from Germany, André and Yasemin.

Not too far down Rue Kabira. As it's very steep going up. Nice riad run and owned by Omar. Super bed mattress, very comfy. Good breakfast also. Spent 3 nights here. Thankyou Omar and team.
